2nd FREE Hi-TECH CLINIC at the Halad sa Kapamilya
More than a hundred cell phones, a number of TV sets and radio monitors were brought into the tent of the TESDA-IECEP technicians for repair during the Halad sa Kapamilya last Saturday/Nov. 15, 2008 at the UP High School grounds in Lahug, Cebu City.
The TESDA-IECEP activity overshadowed what we had started last June– the free Hi-Tech Clinic participated by our volunteer Hitech men. Though, our group still offered their services during the day but it was TESDA-IECEP’s group that catered most of the walk-in customers.
Here are some pictures of the free Hi-Tech clinic.
IECEP TRAINING CENTER JOINS Halad sa Kapamilya
Several cellphone, computer and electronics technicians from the Institute of Electronics and Communications Engineer of the Philippines will offer FREE SERVICE during the Halad sa Kapamilya this Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 at the UP High School grounds in Lahug, Cebu City.
14 cellphone technicians, 2 computer technicians, and 4 electronics technicians will be fielded by IECEP Training Center. There are also motorcyle mechanics who will repair motorcycles.
The group is spearheaded by IECEP officers and TESDA personnel. They would be a great contribution to our clients especially our Hi-Tech men volunteers are only limited.
Sem Villar will also conduct Computer Literacy Seminar.
2nd HI-TECH FREE CLINIC @Halad sa Kapamilya, Nov. 15, 2008, UP High School Grounds, Lahug, Cebu City
I’m in the process of organizing our volunteer-technicians for our second Hi-Tech Free Clinic during the Halad sa Kapamilya on Nov. 15, 2008 at the University of the Philippines in Lahug, Cebu City.
Here are the confirmed volunteers to render free service to hundreds of cellphone and computer owners:
- Perez Cellular and Computer Repair Shop (c/o Dominick and Anne Perez) Service: Cellphone and Computer repair
- NUtech Solutions (c/o Randy Berenguel) Service: Computer repair
I am negotiating the official service centers of the various brands of mobile phones: Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, etc. to join our services by sending their own well-trained technicians.
Let’s pray they would share their blessings to us and the public.
More updates will be posted here….
HI-TECH FREE CLINIC @Halad sa Kapamilya, May 2008
More than 400 cellphone users lined up to have their defective cellphones repaired by our volunteer Hi-Tech Men. There were also few computers being repaired during the clinic. Thanks to our volunteers: Sem Villar and his partner, couple Dominick and Anne Perez, Randy Berenguel of NUTech Solutions and staff, and my nephew Terjein Meca for giving their free services during the clinic.
