News Writing & Radio Broadcasting Workshop @ Tabok National High School

It’s my first time to handle a news-related lecture with high school students on Friday, October 23, 2009. Fortunately, it’s my own brainchild being the president of the General Parents-Teachers Association of Tabok National High School in my own barangay–Tabok, Mandaue City.

The lecture is in preparation for the annual PRESS CONFERENCE of the Department of Education in Mandaue City where the students shall compete their skills in news writing.

One of the students shall report for Campus Patrol segment of TV Patrol Central Visayas on Monday, October 26, 2009. Thanks to Edgar Escalante and Rico Lucena for the opportunity given to the students of Tabok National High School.

  1. Thanks for viewing my blogsite few days ago sir.
I am Stephen Paraan, from Tarlac City.
As I view your blog, I’ve seen that you are conducting some lectures in journalism to young journalists.
I am also a campus journalist in our school, particularly the Sports Editor of our schools’ English Publication.
I also participated in the Sports Writing English category in the 31st Regional Schools Press Conference- Central Luzon held at Gapan City, Nueva Ecija last December 7-1, 2009 representing the Schools Division of Tarlac Province.
Well, I just wanna express my admiration to people like you. People who cherish the privilege of being a journalist.
