The Kapamilya Negosyo Na! Season 4 officially kicks off Friday (March 27) during the Kapamilya Media Forum at the SM City Cebu entertainment plaza with full-packed audience.
Attended by representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Labor and Employment, Cebu City Treasurer’s Office, University of San Carlos-College of Commerce and the USC-COCAAI.
DYAB Radio Station Manager Leo Lastimosa anchors the forum with RC Dalaguete while KNN anchor man Jun Tariman served as the forum moderator.
Questions on the conduct of the KNN Season 4 were raised by the attendees who were eager to know the details of the only entrepreneurship radio reality show in Cebu.
The memorandum of agreement for KNN among DYAB/ABS-CBN, USC, and USC-COCAAI was also renewed during the forum.
LIVELIHOOD SKILLS TRAINING
Friday’s launching was immediately followed by the Livelihood Skills Training the following day at the Cogon-Ramos Gym.
282 have registered during the training while 193 of them have signified their intention to attend the Business Plan Seminar on Saturday, April 4 t the USC-main, rooms 348 & 440.
The Business Plan Seminar is required for those who want to join the KNN4 competition because the participants shall be asked to submit a business plan for their proposed livelihood/business proposal.
The screening committee shall base from the business plan, interviews, demonstration and background investigation on who shall be provided with seed capital as finalists. There shall be 10 finalists who will compete, while operating their individual business, the whole year until a Big Winner shall be declared on February 2010.
The livelihood skills training was just a presentation of possible livelihood skills that a participant can enter into for his business proposal to the KNN Season 4.
Some of the skills presented during the training were food/snack preparation, detergent making, fashion accessory making, and Abaca Fiber sheet production.
To date, KNN has already provided livelihood assistance to 26 individuals who were finalists during the first three seasons of the program.
This year, there are consolation cash prizes to be given to those who can’t make it to the top ten.
