News agency–Reuters and Nokia Research Center is coming out with a journalist’s mobile kit–complete with the gadgets needed for gathering, writing, editing and delivering the news story from the field to their newsroom.
The kit adopted the 8-gig N95 from Nokia which is being considered a multi-media phone as its main tool. The N95 has a built-in video editing tool that can be used to compose the video materials gathered from the field.
The N95 is also equipped with a 5-megapixel carl zeiss lens camera which is near broadcast quality.
What makes the N95 fit for a journalist’s writing chores is the accompanying Nokia SU-8W bluetooth foldable keyboard that has a bracket to hold the N95.
To ensure better sound recording, an adaptor is designed to connect the N95 to a professional Sony directional microphone.
The toolkit also includes this Power Monkey Explorer solar charger giving a journalist a continuous supply.
I DO PRAY THAT SOMEONE WILL HAVE THE JOURNALIST MOBILE KIT AS HIS CHRISTMAS PRESENT TO ME. Wish ko lang.
